New design of Thumb microphones with the same sound qualities but with the new possibilities, now, thumb are compatible with CVM MF1 windshields, Rycote BBG and Rycote softie or Radius windshields.
It can be plugged directly into your recorder or used as a pair on a stereo bar with your XLR mic cables like standard SDC microphones and power them with 48V phantom.
The idea came to equip your recorder with a couple of high quality with low noise microphones, like a custom pocket recorder, so was born Thumb, or the name was easily found thanks to its shape. STRAIGHT VERSION IS AVAILABLE TOO

I also recommend to add Comica windshield that mics are designed to fit perfectly with them (the collar on the mic retain the windshield to keep it safe). If you plan to record outside, windshields are heavily recommended due to very high sensitivity against wind of the mics.
