The Earsight Thumb Cardio Straight is a cable-free cardioid microphone that plugs directly into your recorder’s XLR input. With two of them on a compact recorder you get an instant X/Y or near-ORTF rig — directional, focused, and small enough for any bag.
The cardioid capsules (22 dBA self-noise, −37 dB sensitivity) reject rear noise, making them ideal for framing a sound source while keeping handling to a minimum.
