The Earsight Thumb Omni Straight packs the low-noise omnidirectional capsule of my Standard series (14 dBA self-noise, −24 dB sensitivity) into a thumb-sized body that plugs straight into your recorder’s XLR input — no cable at all.
It’s the simplest way to build an ultra-compact A/B rig: two Thumbs on a Zoom F3, F6 or any XLR recorder, and you’re recording. Fewer cables means less to break, less to pack, and a faster setup in the field.
Powered by 48V phantom. Each microphone is hand-assembled and tested in Nantes, France, with optional Comica windshields for outdoor work.
