This mounting adapter holds a pair of Sennheiser MKH8040 or Schoeps CMC1U + MK4 microphones in perfect ORTF geometry — 110° between capsules, 17 cm apart — without a stereo bar, shock mounts everywhere, or endless adjustment before every take.
Designed in CAD and 3D-printed in carbon-fiber-reinforced material on a professional printer, it’s rigid, light and virtually unbreakable. Mount it, and your ORTF pair is always exactly right.
