The Earsight Binaural turns your own head into the most natural stereo array there is. Worn like earphones, these in-ear binaural microphones capture sound exactly as you hear it — with the spatial cues of your ears and head — for truly immersive 3D recordings that come alive on headphones.
Built around the same low-noise capsules as my Standard series (14 dBA self-noise, −24 dB sensitivity), they excel at quiet ambiences, soundwalks, ASMR and stealth recording. Silicone earcups in several sizes ensure a comfortable fit, and a clip option converts them into a pair of lavaliers.
Available with XLR connectors (48V phantom) or 3.5 mm mini-jack powered by plug-in power — your recorder must supply at least 2V PIP, and more voltage (up to 10V) means more headroom. Each pair is hand-assembled, tested and matched in Nantes, France, and ships worldwide.
