Same idea as the ORTF, taken further: a plug & rec pair that turns your handheld into an astonishingly capable pocket recorder. Thanks to mics far superior to those built into ordinary recorders, you can record in the dead of night with virtually no noise — then, with one movement, pull it off and go back to your usual setup for a different job.
An optional Jecklin disk lets you increase L/R separation when you need it. I took a few liberties with the Jecklin "standard" to keep the whole thing pocket-compact, true to the original idea. It's also a perfect stereo pair for cinema room tone. Pick your recorder as an option — XLR connector spacing differs between models.
