Earsight microphones comes now with ability to record binaural with absolute discretion. High quality, with an extremely low self noise (14 dB) and high sensitivity. Binaural Earsight devices are among the quietest on the market at an unbeatable price.

The microphones now take the place of your ears, allowing you to hear exactly what you heard while recording. It is important to know that the binaural effect is achieved thanks to the shape of your head, which guarantees a truly binaural sound. Two microphones placed on either side of a tube shaped like an ear will not guarantee a true binaural sound. You have to listen to it to realize this; the sound is heard with a stunning 3D effect.

The microphones looks like earphones and do not attract attention, so you can record in unlikely places, the microphones follow you everywhere. Earplugs are designed specially for Earsight capsules and were 3D printed for ultra light setup, the material is reinforced carbon filament to keep the microphones extremely durable.

Diclaimer: Monitoring while recording is not possible, so I designed an event to unobstruct your hearings to avoid the sensation of boomy sound when wearing noise cancelling earplugs. The lack of monitoring is a choice to keep the microphones small, and prevent pollution in recording due to the proximity of listening capsule and recording capsule. You are sure that the sound is perfectly clean.

They comes with:

- 3 pairs of silicon plugs to fit your ears: Small, medium and large.

- One clip to be attached to your clothing so that you can turn your head freely with a slack cable

Optional:

- Two Windshields for outdoor use in moderate wind conditions, they can be used like Earsight Standard in A/B configuration for ambiance recording. The windshields can't be used for in ear recordings because of their size.

- Two clips to use the mics as lavalier microphones or as a standard stereo omnidirectional pair.

TWO VERSIONS AVAILABLE:

PAIRED MINI JACK VERSION (PIP): Compatible with microphone input recorder with plug in power or PIP function. (Olympus LS series, Tascam DR100 mkIII, Sony PCM D50 or D100 and many DSLR cameras)
PAIRED XLR VERSION (XLR 48v): For any recorder with a 48V phantom power supply. The body of the XLR connector is equipped with components to adjust the voltage to fit the microphone power needs. It can be used also in mono as a lavalier microphone.
