Ultra small cardioid microphone

The Earsight Cardioid features the same design as the tried-and-tested standard Earsight V2, which is the best-selling model in the Earsight product line.

This version gives you greater freedom in choosing the sounds you want to capture. The cardioid pattern rejects sounds coming from behind the microphone and offers greater directivity, allowing you to place the microphones in ORTF configuration or experiment to find the most accurate representation of your environment.

Premium sound quality, compact, affordable... the flexibility of the Earsight microphone in cardioid version.

* the noise floor is not as low as on the omnidirectional version, which is intended for low-noise recordings, the sensitivity of the cardioid version is adapted for more present sounds (voices, instruments, sound design, nature...). You can choose between two capsules based on your needs

TWO VERSIONS AVAILABLE:

PAIRED MINI JACK VERSION (PIP): Compatible with microphone input recorder with plug in power or PIP function. (Olympus LS series, Tascam DR100 mkIII, Sony PCM D50 or D100 and many DSLR cameras)
PAIRED XLR VERSION (XLR 48v): For any recorder with a 48V phantom power supply. The body of the XLR connector is equipped with components to adjust the voltage to fit the microphone power needs. It can be used also in mono as a lavalier microphone.
